At Dayton High School's Night of the Arts on April 26, 2007, and again on April 25, 2008, Duo Kantu played back-up for the World Music Club's group of zampoña players who had been inspired by Duo Kantu's music and art at their school. Julie Lozada Ocampo, her husband, Carlos Ocampo and brother-in-law, Marco Antonio Ocampo spent many hours teaching this group how to play the zampoña, the Andean rhythms and, of course, the songs.
